MARC details
245 ## - TITLE STATEMENT
Title Bowling Pin set
260 ## - PUBLICATION, DISTRIBUTION, ETC.
Name of publisher, distributor, etc. Melissa & Doug
300 ## - PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Extent This set is made of soft plastic and includes six colorful animal pins and a lightweight ball in an included carrying case. The pins could be used against a black or white background to increase contrast for children with visual impairments. The textures on the animal faces add a sensory component for children who prefer texture on their toys. Setting up the pins and taking turns require problem-solving and social skill practice, which can be helpful for children with communication difficulties, anxiety, or autism. This floor-based game makes it easier for a child with motor impairments to participate even if they're laying on the floor, sitting in a chair, or using a foot to roll the ball. The plastic is easy to clean, so this set can be used indoors or outdoors. Note: Adult supervision required.
