| Extent | This lightweight book has a protective cover made of waterproof luggage fabric with 10 soft felt pages inside. The pages include tabs for easy organization, and the book measures 8.5x11" when closed. It can be used to create a communication notebook or an adapted book to increase engagement with peers and during literacy activities, especially for children with limited verbal speech or who are learning English. Includes a removable sentence strip to practice building sentences or sequences with a series of symbols. Felt pieces can attach directly to the pages, or laminated symbols or pictures with scratchy Velcro attached to the back will stick more securely to the page. This is a blank book, but sample files can be provided for you to make your own symbols. |
